MEA Gas Operations Conference
The MEA Gas Operations Conference is August 9-11 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The MEA or Midwest Gas Association began in 1905 by a handful of Midwestern gas companies. The organization’s purpose was to improve safety and efficiency by exchanging successful practices with others in the industry. Today the MEA serves almost 100 gas and electric companies, and its mission has not wavered. The MEA offers gas operations training through various events, including the Gas Operations conference.
The Gas Operations Technical & Leadership Summit accommodates gas crews, forepersons, supervisors, managers, and directors. Industry-led committees select the summit topics, and industry experts are the presenters.
